POPULAR Dynamos supporter Adam Mukwasi has been summoned to Harare Central Police Station for allegedly organising an unsanctioned demonstration at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.
Mukwasi was summoned to Harare Central Police Station around 11am Saturday following a report made by the Dynamos leadership that he was organising a protest at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Dynamos face Highlanders at the venue, where Mukwashi was alleged to have been mobilising the team’s supporters to demonstrate against Moses Maunganidze’s leadership style, accusing him of bringing the club down.
Mukwasi confirmed that he had been summoned and warned that he would be brought before the courts should any demonstration occur at Rufaro.
“I have been summoned to Harare Central Police and strongly warned that I will be brought before the courts should there be disturbances at Rufaro.
“The thing is, if there is anyone organising that, it is not me,” he said.
However, Mukwasi is in a tight corner should any form of violence occur at the stadium.
Although there was no official comment from the police, StandardSport saw Mukwasi in the company of his lawyers as he reported at the police station.

Relations between Dynamos supporters and the club leadership have been strained since Tuesday when a section of the team’s supporters distributed flyers around the city centre calling for the resignation of the club executive for allegedly running the club down.
Mukwasi was fingered as the supporters’ ring leader and for sponsoring the printing and distribution of the flyers.
This was after the team’s players went on strike demanding that they be paid their outstanding bonuses as well as sign-on fees, which they should have received at the start of the season.
The players eventually returned to training and are desperate for the maximum three points to improve on the 24 points they have gathered from the 17 games they have played so far.
When Dynamos and Highlanders met in the first instalment of the Battle of the Cities, Bosso won 1-0.
